Effective Oct 25, 2026
Yumeta, Inc. (the "Company"), a United States corporation, values the personal information of members who use Ascept (the "Service") and complies with applicable laws. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we use and keep it.
1. Information We Collect
When you sign up or sign in (received from Kakao or Google)
- Nickname, profile picture, email address (if you agreed to share it), social account identifier
When you consult
- The questions you enter and the answers you receive
- Birth details needed for a reading: date of birth, time of birth, sex, place of birth
- Birth details you save on My Page (for yourself and anyone you add)
- Ratings and comments you leave on answers
When you pay
- Amount, product, date and status of the payment. Card numbers and other payment details are handled directly by Stripe; the Company does not store them.
Collected automatically
- Usage records, IP address, browser information, cookies and browser storage (keeping you signed in, language and display settings)
2. How We Use It
- To identify you and keep you signed in
- To calculate charts, generate AI answers and keep your consultation history
- To process Orb purchases, subscriptions and refunds
- To improve the Service, fix errors and prevent abuse
- To improve service quality and AI performance using pseudonymized consultation records (Section 5)
- To respond to inquiries and send important notices
3. How Long We Keep It
- Your account, consultations and saved birth details are deleted as soon as you delete your account.
- Payment and refund records are kept for 5 years as required by e-commerce laws.
- A consultation you delete disappears from your list at once; its internal records are deleted when you delete your account.
4. Processors and International Transfers
We use the following providers to run the Service. They may process information outside your country.
- Yumeta Lab Co., Ltd. (Korea), the Company's affiliate: developing the Service, operating its servers and handling inquiries from members in Korea. It accesses member information and consultations only as needed for this work.
- Stripe, Inc. (USA): payment processing and storing payment methods
- OpenRouter, Inc. (USA), BizRouter (Republic of Korea) and AI model providers: generating answers. Requests go to one of these two AI gateways, and to the other if the first does not respond. Your question, the preceding conversation and the birth details needed for the reading are sent over encrypted connections; account information such as your nickname or email address is not sent.
- Kakao, Google: social sign-in. The Kakao sign-in app is registered under Yumeta Lab Co., Ltd., so its name may appear on the sign-in screen, but the information received is handled by the Company under this policy.
Information is transferred when you consult or pay, and is kept and deleted under each provider's policy. If you do not want your information transferred abroad, you can stop using the Service and delete your account.
5. Encryption, Pseudonymization and Use of Consultation Records for Service and AI Improvement
- Consultation content you enter (questions, answers, conversation context and consultation titles), saved birth details, and comments on answers are encrypted with AES-256 when stored. However, to provide the Service reliably, for example by continuing from earlier parts of a conversation, this encryption is reversible and can be decrypted with an encryption key managed by the Company. The key is kept separately from the database, and decryption is limited to what is necessary to provide the Service, respond to failures, handle member inquiries, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and carry out the pseudonymization described in paragraph 2.
- For the purposes of maintaining and enhancing the quality of the Service, developing new features and improving the performance of artificial intelligence ("AI"), including the accuracy and suitability of answers, the Company may, after pseudonymizing members' consultation records (including questions, answers, birth details, and ratings and comments on answers), use such records for analysis, the compilation of statistics, and the training, evaluation and tuning of AI models and prompts, to the minimum extent necessary to achieve those purposes.
- "Pseudonymization" in paragraph 2 means deleting or replacing information that directly identifies a member, such as name, nickname, contact details, email address and account identifier, so that a specific member cannot be identified without the use of additional information. The Company keeps any additional information that could be used for re-identification separately and does not process pseudonymized information for the purpose of identifying a specific individual.
- Information transmitted under Section 4 to AI model providers to generate answers may be used to improve those providers' services and models, within the limited scope permitted by the data processing policies established by each provider. Account information is not transmitted in such cases either, and the Company selects providers after reviewing their data processing policies.
- When a member deletes their account, the member's consultation records are deleted in accordance with Section 3. However, outputs into which pseudonymized records were already incorporated before the deletion, such as statistical figures or model parameters, cannot be separated or identified as a specific member's records and therefore may not be subject to deletion.
6. Sharing With Third Parties
We do not provide your personal information to anyone else unless the law requires it or you consent.
7. Share Links
If you create a share link for a consultation, anyone with the link can view it. Birth details appear on the shared page only if you choose to show them. You can turn sharing off at any time, after which the link no longer works.
8. Your Rights
You may access, correct or delete your personal information, or ask us to stop processing it, at any time. You can review your information and delete your account on My Page; for anything else, email us at the address below.
9. Cookies and Browser Storage
We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your language and display settings. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you block cookies in your browser, you may not stay signed in.
10. Security
We protect your information with encrypted connections (HTTPS), least-privilege access, an extra check at administrator sign-in, and one-way hashing of passwords. Encryption of stored consultation records is governed by Section 5, paragraph 1.
11. Children
People under 14 cannot sign up, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
